For a production company, CRM Studios Dallas is about as centered as you can get – as in located right in the middle of the Dallas-Fort Worth area of North Texas, literally minutes away from DFW International Airport and Love Field, in one of the largest corporate corridors anywhere in the country.
And since we’re right in the in the middle of the U.S., we’re just a mere three-hour plane ride from either coast. Meaning we’re easily – and economically – available to jump on a flight and shoot at any of your company’s locations.
In addition, since the Dallas area has a unique blend of American big-city and small town looks, it makes for a great location if you need to bring several regions together for a quick shoot.
About half the footage we shoot is shot on location, meaning not on one of our three big stages, but out in the field. And at CRM, sometimes “out in the field” literally means shooting out in a field! Like the recent Lincoln’s Land infomercial we shot in the middle of some beautiful “amber waves of grain,” with none other than Honest Abe, himself.
Sometimes we might run down to the Cayman Islands for a week (harsh, right?), like we did for a project for client XTO Energy. Then we might pop over to Boston to shoot 200 of the nation’s top eye surgeons for client Alcon Labs. Of course, we understand that everyone is sympathetic with our production team as they struggle each year to find a safe path while crossing the San Diego Convention Center floor shooting Comic Con for GameStop!
And while we love shooting across our own country, we’re certainly not limited to working in America. Our passports are always ready and we’ve shot from Canada to Europe to Mexico and beyond. At CRM, we are only limited by where our cameras can go. So, in other words, just about everywhere!
