GameStop teamed up with video partner CRM Studios for another great week at E3. They interviewed developers, played news games and captured the fanfare of the event.
E3, also known as the Electronic Entertainment Expo, a huge event for every gamer, was held recently in Los Angeles. GameStop TV attended E3 with CRM Studios to bring the excitement and fun of video games to the consumers at the point of sale on in-store TV, and on GameStop’s social media channels.
GameStop TV Was at E3 to Create Content for Customers
Tiffany Tennison, Director of Broadcast Production at GameStop said, “Once again, in partnership with CRM Studios, GameStop was able to create 63 pieces of content, which was featured in real-time at GameStop stores nationwide, and on our social media channels, including Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.” The content from E3 is also featured on GameStop’s YouTube channel and in the newly launched YouTube content creator’s platform, The Sandbox.
GameStop Manager of Television Sales and Production, Erik Conway added “We cover quite a few industry events every year, but there’s nothing more significant to gaming culture and to our business than E3. This year millions of people around the world watched as nearly 70,000 people invaded LA to attend press conferences, view showcases, and, of course, get their hands on some of the biggest upcoming games of this fall, next year, and beyond. With our first glimpses of gameplay for sure-to-be-blockbuster hits like The Last of Us 2, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Fallout 76, and many more, game fans were certainly not disappointed.”
Conway continued “Our E3 coverage from the press conferences to the show floor was more extensive this year than ever before. Partnering with CRM Studios, GameStop TV was not only able to create far more video content than in previous years, we were also able to get content to our viewers faster and more efficiently than ever before,”
More Game Coverage to Come
Tennison then concluded, “CRM’s contribution and effort paid great dividends in being able to supply relevant content to our customer base, both in their social media streams and at the point of purchase. Their partnership allowed us to have the most successful E3, from a video content perspective, directly resulting in positive sales for the company. We look forward to the rest of Con season, as we start planning with CRM for San Diego Comicon, Evo and Pax West in the coming months.”
GameStop and CRM Studios have been teamed on GameStop TV for more than a decade.
